Working Typewriter Brother Deluxe 900 — Mint Condition, Metal Body
This Brother Deluxe 900 isn't a gamble — it's a fully tested, guaranteed-working all-metal writing companion that looks like it just left the factory floor, so there's zero risk in what lands on your desk. Every letter strikes clean and crisp in black and red, and its solid metal body means this is a typewriter built to be used daily for decades to come — light enough to move around the house, tough enough to hand down. Reliable. Ready to use. Honestly disclosed.

Dating note: the typewriter dating archives only document this model's "J" and "L" prefix serial series (1970, 1972, 1975). This unit's "D" prefix falls outside that documented set — likely a separate regional production batch — so we're stating the era honestly as 1970s rather than guessing an exact year.

The jacket was beautiful but arms soo short for me - so it made a good gift for a friend
The typewriter arrived from Europe to the US sooner than scheduled which was a wonderful surprise. It was carefully wrapped so there was no damage at all. It was exactly as shown in photos online. All of the keys and functions work perfectly and I’ve been using it regularly with no issue. Highly recommend this business if you’re looking for a stress-free vintage purchase!
