A small courtly love scene, painted in the finely detailed style of Persian and Qajar-era miniature art: a young nobleman in a plumed white turban raises a wine cup, his arm around a lady in a flowing blue floral gown, her headdress crowned with a delicate feather.
Gold detailing picks out her jewelry and his aigrette, a hallmark technique of this centuries-old painting tradition. The piece is set in a genuine khatam (Persian marquetry) frame, hand-assembled from tiny geometric wood, bone, and metal inlays — a labor-intensive craft unique to Iran.

Some universal ribbon spools may slip if they don't lock into the slot on the machine. I held mine in place with a Doonail sticker and everything is working perfectly.
