Some universal ribbon spools may slip if they don't lock into the slot on the machine. I held mine in place with a Doonail sticker and everything is working perfectly.

All of the keys and functions are working properly and smoothly. It came with two ribbons that are working perfectly. The case closes securely over the typewriter and the color is vibrant with very little wear and tear marks. The seller was very communicative along the way and delivered on everything promised.
