A Classic Piece of Scientific History
This vintage Olympus Tokyo monocular microscope, likely from the HSC/HS student and laboratory series made in Japan around the 1950s-60s, is finished in glossy black with a rotating objective nosepiece, coarse and fine focus knobs, and a mechanical stage.
It appears to be in good working condition — the focus mechanism, stage, and rotating nosepiece all move smoothly, though it has not been professionally tested optically.

Some universal ribbon spools may slip if they don't lock into the slot on the machine. I held mine in place with a Doonail sticker and everything is working perfectly.

All of the keys and functions are working properly and smoothly. It came with two ribbons that are working perfectly.
