A rare piece of German calculating history. The Hamann Manus R was built by DeTeWe (Deutsche Telephonwerke) in Berlin, one of the first compact machines capable of fully automatic division — engineered by inventor Christel Hamann.
This unit carries genuine vintage provenance: a French reseller sticker reading "Machines et Mobilier de Bureau — A. Veslot, Lille" and an "Importé d'Allemagne" label.

This is a gorgeous typewriter and looks brand new.
I am delighted with my rare Pluma 22 typewriter. It arrived in timely fashion, well-packed, and in full working order with its case and cover and two working ribbons. The price was not cheap, but reasonable for a typer that rarely turns up in the UK, and in full working condition despite being from the late 1960s. Seller was helpful. Only issue, if you're buying from the UK, they send via FedEx who will charge you a hefty tax and handling fee of 20-25%, so you need to factor this into the price if you're buying from another country. Seller did provide a discount to ease that blow. I'm very happy with my typewriter and would buy from them again.
