Manufactured in the German Democratic Republic (GDR) during the 1970s–1980s, the Erika Mod. 100 represents the final evolution of one of Germany's most respected typewriter brands. Some universal ribbon spools may slip if they don't lock into the slot on the machine. I held mine in place with a Doonail sticker and everything is working perfectly.

All of the keys and functions are working properly and smoothly. It came with two ribbons that are working perfectly.
